Voting in Georgia runoff elections are coming up and candidates in these runoffs need your vote.
If you voted in the primary election in May, you must choose the same party when voting in the runoff. If you didn’t vote in the primary and want to vote in the runoff, you may choose either party. Those who voted non partisan in the May election may choose either party in the runoff as there is not a runoff for non partisan voters.
Absentee ballots are available by contacting your county for those who will be out of town or unable to go to the polls on election day, Tuesday, July 24.
Early voting days will be held at county Board of Elections offices on the following days and times:
July 2-20, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5p.m. No voting on July 4 holiday and no Saturday voting.
Election Day Voting, Tuesday, July 24: all polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. You must go to your precinct to vote on this day.
