The Lone Bellow Headlines Second Season of The Lantern Series
On August 17, the second season of Elm Street Cultural Arts Village’s The Lantern Series kicks off with The Lone Bellow, the Nashville-based trio that puts an indie and alternative edge on the traditional country sound. Formed in 2013, The Lone Bellow features Georgia native Zach Williams on guitar and vocals, Kanene Donehey Pipkin on multiple instruments and vocals, and Brian Elmquist on guitar as well as vocals.
In six years, the band has released three albums, been nominated for an Americana Music Award, and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Show with David Letterman and Conan O'Brien. This concert is also special because it is a homecoming of sorts - guitarist and vocalist Zach Williams is from the area and graduated from Etowah High School.
The outdoor concert is a one-night engagement on Saturday, August 17 at 7:30 p.m. The Lone Bellow is appropriate for all ages to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks (no outside alcohol) and decorate their tables. Reformation beer and a variety of wines will be available for purchase. Tickets are on sale now at www.elmstreetarts.org. Tables and seats are available at varying levels.
